I’m sure as a Potash investor you’ve taken a peak into one of the internet’s many message boards. For the past few months we’ve all come across comments such as:

“Ha, Ha. Purchased 1,575,000 shares short this morning. Making the big $$$ suckers.”

 

“Of course I saw this coming. Agri is over-rated. I’ve been short since $208.”

 

Well these guys are full of it. Here are the short ratios of the big three, all be it for Sept 10th.

POT short

 

I guess the lesson here is don’t let these guys get to you.

As actor/director Max von Sydow said in Woody Allen’s Hannah and Her Sisters:

“One has to question the level of mind that watches wrestling.”

One also has to question the level of mind that posts innane messages on finance boards, whether it be pertaining to their stocks or their unrealistic purchase levels (“I just made $654,000 shorting, suckers!”)
